All vaulters/riders
bring a drink
dress for the weather(ex. in colder months wear layers)
no shorts or open toed shoes
Riders:
properly fitted helmet(or borrow one of ours)
boots with a 1" heel
long pants (no shorts)
if riding english please no jeans with bling on pockets

Trick Riders:
properly fitted helmet(or borrow one of ours)
running, wrestling, or water shoes (with ankle support/high tops is best)
long socks
pants that are stretchy and easy to move in
Vaulters:
fitted and comfortable clothing that allows for movement
water shoes/vaulting shoes

If JR Equestrian cancels a lesson or you cancel with 24-hour notice, make-up times will be arranged. However, if you cancel a lesson without 24-hour notice or do not show up, make-up times or refunds will not be provided (excluding emergencies).

For children aged 6 and under who are new to horses, we recommend half-hour lessons. If your child is hesitant about riding initially, there's no need to worry. We have plenty of engaging activities on the ground that we can start with to help them become comfortable around horses first!
